Teen DJ Workshop at Sugarbush Studio

As Sugarbush Studio begins its transformation into a dedicated space for creativity, wellness, and learning, we are excited to introduce one of our first creative programmes for young people.

This April, Sugarbush Studio will host a Teen DJ Workshop, designed for teenagers interested in exploring the world of DJing and music production.

A Creative Introduction to DJing

This one-day intensive workshop offers students a practical introduction to the art of DJing and the foundations of music production. Participants will learn how DJs mix tracks, understand the structure of music, and gain insight into how music can be created and manipulated using professional tools.

The workshop is designed to be hands-on, interactive, and highly personalised, with a limited number of students to ensure focused guidance.

Students can attend on one of the following days:

Price: K2000 per student

Capacity: Maximum 6 students per workshop

Who Can Attend

The workshop is designed for Grade 11–12 students aged 16–18 who are curious about music, DJ culture, and creative production.

Whether they are already passionate about music or simply interested in learning something new, the workshop provides a welcoming introduction to the field.

Facilitators

The workshop will be led by two experienced professionals:

DJ Lady Kay – sharing real-world DJ experience and techniques used in live performance.

Elias – a music production specialist who will guide students through the basics of music production and sound creation.

Together, they will provide students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience throughout the day.

Learning in a Small Group

To ensure students receive meaningful guidance and support, each workshop is limited to six participants. This allows facilitators to work closely with each student and create a more engaging learning experience.
